entered the condo with mildew and puke very strong smell that came from the couch. they came an cleaned it only 4 the smell 2 return. we drove 14 1/2 hrs. 2 get there. Bed mattress had no support. Greeted by a roach looking bug 2 inch big with wings. Was texted by management 2 go buy roach spray n they would reimburse us 4 that. Oh more bugs came up the drain in the tub as well. We will not b returning. Its SAD to experience wat we did. WE left 4 days early, we r seniors and felt very hurt and disappointed. nothing was offered to us or reimbursement for the days we lost.

The outside deck was a favorite for us in the morning for breakfast. The kitchen is nicely supplied. Comfy bed, shower had good water pressure. Pool/hot tube well maintained. Plenty of parking and super close to the beach. We did arrive a little early, management team replied quickly w/a txt to go in, and did reply promptly to questions. I had issue w/TV in evening getting to the DISH stations instead of the stream stations. A txt from the team did help to get the local stations. In-house book needs update as there was no pool gate key, but covered info well.
We loved this rental, look forward to staying again.

Overall, everything was very good. I have only 2 seguestions. The bed seemed very firm. If a softer topper could be put on that would be awesome. The second item would be a couple of new nonstick frying pans. Wasn't anything I could do to stop eggs from sticking. Otherwise everything else was great!

This was my 5th time staying at Summer Breeze and my 2nd time staying in this unit 201. I was very disappointed at the condition of this unit. For spending $3000 for a 1 bedroom it should have been maintained much better, which tells me the owner is not making improvements. First off, I really enjoy spending time on the balcony which overlooks the beautiful beaches. The chairs were falling apart from rust. We had to be very careful when we sat so they wouldn't fall apart. With the money spent on this place the owner could at least invest in better chairs that are not falling apart. The wood on the railings is starting to rot and while we were there, a crew was installing support beams throughout the entire complex. We did notice that the balcony leans a little more than it's supposed to. Some of the lamps in the unit didn't work because of burnt bulbs, the bathroom sink wouldn't drain properly, the ceiling where the ac vents are have mildew stains, the top rack of the dishwasher was broken almost falling out, and the icing on the cake was I had a pair of cockroaches meet me in the morning right next to the coffee pot, and no, I didn't leave any doors open. To say I am highly disappointed is an understatement. I most likely will never stay here again. If tourist are paying this much money, $3000 a week, which is $12,000 a month, I don't understand why this particular unit looks this way. Please put some of that money back into your unit!!!!!

During our stay on October 8-15, 2022 we purchased a mattress topper, fan, and cooking utensils we purchased (which is noted in our list below). I have compiled a list of issues with the condo. We are respectfully requesting a 30% discount due to the issues listed below.

We adore Destin, Miramar Beach & SummerBreeze. We stay here at least once a year, sometimes more. This was not our best vacation there. This was our first time renting from Beachview. Based off of this experience alone, we won’t use them again. For starters, our unit was not ready on time. This would’ve been okay if the ladies cleaning hadn’t been so rude. They were rude when we tried to enter, didn’t bother to provide an explanation & told my husband & son in law to just leave our luggage outside the door. I went up to see what was going on & explained that we had small children with us. Only then was I told that the unit would be ready by 5:30, an hour & a half later than check in. The day before we were scheduled to leave, cleaners entered the unit & I received a call asking why we hadn’t left. I had to explain that we had asked & paid for an additional night weeks earlier. On top of that, our door code no longer worked. I called customer service several times before I received an email with a new code. These issues may seem minor, but when you’re traveling with small children it’s really inconvenient. I’ve never had any problems like this renting from VRBO, Newman Dailey or Chico Properties. Lastly, this unit wasn’t as nice as some of the others. Very few cooking utensils, no free beach setup & my son in law actually fixed a kitchen cabinet door that was hanging off.

Overall it was a 3/5 stars! And I’m sure next time I stay it will be 5 stars. But, every morning I was there, I woke up to construction noises. Sometimes it would start at 7 am... I am on vacation, I do not want to wake up to all that noise. I stepped on a nail, through my shoe, while walking to my car. The gentleman were blocking the stairs with ladders and tools. It just did not feel very safe. I wish someone would have warned me about this construction happening right outside the front door. It was an awful surprise. Hopefully next time I stay it won’t be happening, or someone will warn me.

The pictures are deceiving. This is a dark,dismal place. The building is very old and the inside hasn't been remodeled in probably 30 years. Don't plan on cooking; 1 small pan ,no pots and not 1 sharp knife. The beach was a short walk,but it is a public beach access so the beach was extremely packed.The bed was so uncomfortable my sister and I took turns sleeping on the couch and we left a day early and checked into a had an intense musty smell and the door to the balcony would only stay closed by using the dead bolt.

We enjoyed our time in Miramar Beach and our stay at Summer Breeze. The views are amazing and the street noise wasn't bad. We had everything we needed for our stay. We hope to book again soon.

Right across from the beach and close to Pompano's. We spend most of the day at the beach when possible, so it was the perfect spot.

The proximity to the beach is unbeatable! Check in and out was simple, the condo was clean, and we had everything we needed to enjoy all that Destin offers.

Perfect location. Easy parking. I literally felt like I was home. It felt so comfortable there.

Location was perfect for us as our focus of the vacation was beach time and relaxing! Beach access right across the street along with very good restaurants within walking distance. The only negative; wished more detail had been given to cleaning the unit. Dust hanging from ceiling fan(s) and bedroom curtains along with very worn couch and chair was disturbing.

Bedroom door is a pocket door that does not close, holes in the walls everywhere, holes in the tub. Dirty, hasn’t been dusted or deep cleaned in a LONG time. Emailed management about a stove light that was on and other issues and never was contacted my whole trip.

We liked the stay because was right across the beach , and was quite clean inside , but there’s some things they have to pay attention.The condo is outdated, requires some improvements, walls needs new paint, if you ever want to cook there, there is no clean cookware dirty oven , tv super small not even connected to internet, no smart TV, but overall the stay was good it was clean besides the couple things around kitchen , and some mold on shower head ,and last night we stayed ac went down for about 5 hr . hope next time i will see some improvements there because i like the location, and I would like to be a returning customer next summer

Our Condo was a wonderful location to the beach! We were in the very back of the building and had to climb 27 steps every time we went to our room! The condo is very old and dated, and the blinds were broken and very dirty! Ceiling fans were so dirty. We would definitely stay in that building again as long as we had an updated unit. You have a beautiful location there why not spend the money and fix it up to date? Everything in the unit was so outdated. The wallpaper in the unit especially in the bathroom is coming off the walls and the shower feels like the floor is rotted underneath because it’s soft when you stand in the tub. I feel like charging people for a damage fee is unfair because everyone does not damage something so we shouldn’t get charged for it. That needs to be assessed after we leave the unit. And how can you charge someone for broken blinds when they were broken when we got there? The cleaning fees are very high when the place was dirty I don’t like paying for something that wasn’t done. Take advantage and fix up your unit so people enjoy staying there and want to come back all the time.

Check in was easy and the rental was positioned perfectly for a beach holiday. I locked myself out and the customer service was great. They texted my husband the door code within hours.
The condo was a little dated and the bathroom was tiny, luckily there was only 2 of us so we managed fine. The TVs didn’t work but we didn’t need them as we were out most of the time. The kitchen was suffice for our needs.

You can't beat the location - across the street from the beautiful beach, close dining options and perfect weather but the condo itself was not clean and had not been in a while; it was down right nasty and smelled like urine.

I didn’t mind the location but the condo it’s self needs a total redo needs new doors door handles, blinds , sinks don’t drain you have bucket under the sink that you have to dump every day and rusting out , fans make noise , not all lights work , needs painted badly , extremely out dated pictures ext:, furniture is out dates as well , wallpaper in the shower ?? !! Coming off , standing water in the shower so all that said I couldn’t take it anymore we left 2 days early

We had a great time at this rental. My friend and I needed a break and this was a great place to stay. We could walk to the beach, there was a restaurant close and shops just a walking distance.

A first class property very well maintained and managed! Spacious and with a beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico.

Amazing Gulf views. Great location next to state park. Nice pool area. Unit itself could use some TLC. Outdoor furniture needs to be replaced on balcony. Carpets in bedroom show some staining. paint on walls needs cleaning / touchup. Otherwise, a fantastic unit in a great location.

We had a good stay at St Croix 1406. The unit was clean. It was nice not to have to pick up a check in packet at the realtors office. The dishwasher didn't shut off all the time. The key card process is a pain. The resort needs to install more key pads instead of having to use key cards. The carpet is going to need replacing soon. The unit could use some new skillets and more Dish rags, Dish towels and pot holders. The patio furniture will need replacing soon.

This place is exactly and better than pics - view is amazing, pool was great, beach service was great and tiki bar is a big plus with yummy food and drinks! The checkin and out process was so simple and seamless. We didn’t have to communicate with the rental place at all. We only had one concern and that was because we had small children a three of the four balcony doors did not lock - and since this is on 14th floor was husband went to hardware store and got some clamps where kids could not reach to open. I did email them this concern and they were going to let property maintenance know. So if you have young kids you might want to verify that has been fixed - otherwise highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

Very nice, but living room furniture is in need of replacement. I never did sit on the couch because it was so close to the floor, and the chairs were extremely uncomfortable. Otherwise a lovely condo.

I would say the condo and VIEW IS AWSOME no complaints there.. however when it states the pool is heated and the homeowners vote to turn the heat off that is not right to the renters staying there. Also the last 6 days of our stay the unit above us was under construction and the noise hammering,drilling and pounding all day long was very very loud and annoying which it was hard to enjoy our stay. This was a trip we had planned for a long time for our retirement and was hoping for a nice stay. If we would of known this info before hand we would of chosen a different place.

Loved the condo unit layout which was perfect for three couples. Also liked having an end unit and watching the planes go over. Views were beautiful and location was very convenient to surrounding shops and restaurants.

Rental experience was seem less! Followed check in and out instructions and we did have any wasted time regarding our reservations.

Everything was perfect again. It would be nice to be able to get on the grounds and use the pool and beach prior to the 4:30 check in. For this alone, I would consider booking with another company. Our entire party was able to get in early that AM, but just not into the unit itself. They had used a different company than us.

We stayed at Silver Shells last year in St Martin building in a different rental unit and enjoyed our stay very much. The furniture in this unit was very uncomfortable and we would not rent this same unit in the future without improvements.

I have stayed in Destin every year for 15 years but I have never stayed in a place as nice of this one. The pictures don't do it justice, It is beautiful a perfect location, easy access to the beach, the pool is amazing, the check out was so so easy. All week my family keep talking about how great it was. Michelle Massey was our person who booked the condo for us. She was so great as well. there are not enough words to tell you how nice this place is and if its available I will always stay in this condo. Again don't hesitate to book this you won't be disappointed.

We stayed at this condo May 26th thru May 31st, and the condo was beautiful and clean. Fantastic views of the beach and swimming pool. We all loved the swimming pool. Only issue we had was someone was in our parking spot in the parking garage one day when we came back from eating out. We called beachview rentals, and they immediately sent a text back saying they were taking care of it. We went back out for just a little while, and when we came back, the vehicle had been moved. Very responsive. Would stay here again for sure.

I would return to this resort and condo. Very clean, excellent view, when we did have an issue it was taken care of immediately. Would recommend this spacious condo to a family for a great vacation.

We stayed here with our 3 children and another family that stayed in another condo. The size was perfect to host both families for meals and then some! The views were beautiful, we saw dolphins almost every morning from out balcony.

Our first Airbnb experience and everything went very smoothly. Everything was explained and provided as expected. We will definitely be back.

Our stay at Sterling Sands 604 was a pleasant experience. The condo was consistent with the description provided on the booking website. Its location offered convenient access to shopping, entertainment, restaurants and of course the beach. The property was well-maintained, and the security guard was courteous and professional.

However, there are a few areas where improvements could be made. Firstly, the sofa in the living room should be replaced immediately. The cushions lack support in the middle and sag when sat upon. Secondly, the primary bedroom is not equipped with a smart TV. Lastly, there is no TV in the second bedroom.

But overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay there again.

Absolutely perfect location to everything!

The unit was clean. It was fun to see the dolphins swim by daily. The Back Porch restaurant is a great place to visit - a short walk away. The road noise was pretty loud, along with daily trash pickup at 5:30am. Beachview Vacation Rentals was great to work with!

I booked the condo about 3 weeks before our trip. The price was very reasonable. The communication was great. Condo was in a perfect location with a great view - although not from a bedroom. The place was clean. Didn’t sleep well due to outside lights. Bedrooms are facing the road and window blinds do not block light well. We didn’t enjoy the pool because it was very very warm... had to be over 90 degrees. Will not stay again due to the issues sleeping otherwise I would.

We loved this place and our stay. I will say that the mattresses aren't super comfortable. The doors need some WD40 because they squeak a lot. It would be nice for next time if you make a broom and dust pan available. The vacuum in the closet doesn't pick up anything and we brought in a lot of sand, unfortunately. We couldn't keep the floors clean. Everything else was AMAZING!

Great experience! Rental was very clean and the property very well maintained. Location was perfect, right on the beach and short distance from awesome restaurants.

The condo was in the perfect location, clean and had the basic necessities. It would have been nice for more hooks to hang things up to keep it less cluttered, and some additional basics like dish soap and some hand towels, but we made do. The condo was nice and quiet, everyone was friendly and helpful. We rented bikes to get around during our stay from Bikes R Us and HIGHLY recommend them! She delivered the bikes and even picked us up the day before our last day because we got stuck in a rainstorm. The beach service at the condo was great and we appreciated the umbrella.
We had one issue after checking out. We were charged for damaged linens - that we did NOT damage. They realized the mistake, a different room should have been charged and I did receive a credit but the manager I spoke to on the phone wasn't very nice and needed to learn better communication skills. It was cleared up which I appreciated, but it did dampen our spirits a little. We will stay again though. Loved the unit and the location.

We reserved this condo back in November and I had emailed the owners asking about the balcony furniture since there was none in the pictures. They responded that there would be furniture there by the time we got there in April for our vacay. I emailed them again a few weeks prior to the trip & asked about the furniture and they responded that yes, there was furniture. We arrived at the condo and when we walked in it was a huge disappointment. Walls were scuffed & marked up, no wall decorations/fun vibes anywhere in the long entryway/condo. Went on the balcony and the furniture consisted of 4 slingback cheap chairs and 2 of them had filthy molded thin cushions on them. There was a tiny wooden table that was gross and I covered with a beach towel. I emailed them and asked about it & they said there had been a delay in the ordering but reminded them that they told me there was furniture and I never heard back. The condo had zero rugs in the kitchen or bathrooms which is not pleasant to the feet...had to wear socks all the time because of sand and moisture on the floors. The kitchen had no Tupperware/storage containers...very sparse on utensils & no platters or serving plates. The 2nd bedroom with the bunk beds has no closet, no dresser, no storage for anything & didn’t even posses a TV in the room. We had two 16 year old boys with us so that didn’t go over very well. This was the most we had ever spent on a condo for our spring break vacay and it was not close to the standards of what we’ve had in the past. Would not recommend this condo. Only saving grace was the location & the views & the owners had nothing to do with that.

We have been coming to Sterling Sands for 15+ years, and sadly this was a disappointing experience. The best thing about this unit was the Keurig coffee maker. We always do quite a bit of cooking and grilling while on vacation. Only 2 of the 3 grills were in working order. I reported this to the main office and the front desk employee was unaware that the property even had grills. She did say she would email the HOA. The kitchen was not equipped as we are accustomed. There was no baking sheet or spatula, which I ended up purchasing at Walmart. There were only 3-4 hangers in the closet, and no curtains to block out sunlight in the master bedroom. When we checked in the temperature in the condo was 75 degrees. I waited a couple of hours to see if it would cool down before contacting anyone. I did get a prompt response, however the issue was not resolved until the next morning. At times the pool and pool deck appeared dirty (moldy) The unit was clean upon our arrival.
