Sterling Sands 604

Our stay at Sterling Sands 604 was a pleasant experience. The condo was consistent with the description provided on the booking website. Its location offered convenient access to shopping, entertainment, restaurants and of course the beach. The property was well-maintained, and the security guard was courteous and professional.

However, there are a few areas where improvements could be made. Firstly, the sofa in the living room should be replaced immediately. The cushions lack support in the middle and sag when sat upon. Secondly, the primary bedroom is not equipped with a smart TV. Lastly, there is no TV in the second bedroom.

But overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay there again.

Absolutely perfect location to everything!

The unit was clean. It was fun to see the dolphins swim by daily. The Back Porch restaurant is a great place to visit - a short walk away. The road noise was pretty loud, along with daily trash pickup at 5:30am. Beachview Vacation Rentals was great to work with!

I booked the condo about 3 weeks before our trip. The price was very reasonable. The communication was great. Condo was in a perfect location with a great view - although not from a bedroom. The place was clean. Didn’t sleep well due to outside lights. Bedrooms are facing the road and window blinds do not block light well. We didn’t enjoy the pool because it was very very warm... had to be over 90 degrees. Will not stay again due to the issues sleeping otherwise I would.

We loved this place and our stay. I will say that the mattresses aren't super comfortable. The doors need some WD40 because they squeak a lot. It would be nice for next time if you make a broom and dust pan available. The vacuum in the closet doesn't pick up anything and we brought in a lot of sand, unfortunately. We couldn't keep the floors clean. Everything else was AMAZING!

Great experience! Rental was very clean and the property very well maintained. Location was perfect, right on the beach and short distance from awesome restaurants.

The condo was in the perfect location, clean and had the basic necessities. It would have been nice for more hooks to hang things up to keep it less cluttered, and some additional basics like dish soap and some hand towels, but we made do. The condo was nice and quiet, everyone was friendly and helpful. We rented bikes to get around during our stay from Bikes R Us and HIGHLY recommend them! She delivered the bikes and even picked us up the day before our last day because we got stuck in a rainstorm. The beach service at the condo was great and we appreciated the umbrella.
We had one issue after checking out. We were charged for damaged linens - that we did NOT damage. They realized the mistake, a different room should have been charged and I did receive a credit but the manager I spoke to on the phone wasn't very nice and needed to learn better communication skills. It was cleared up which I appreciated, but it did dampen our spirits a little. We will stay again though. Loved the unit and the location.

We reserved this condo back in November and I had emailed the owners asking about the balcony furniture since there was none in the pictures. They responded that there would be furniture there by the time we got there in April for our vacay. I emailed them again a few weeks prior to the trip & asked about the furniture and they responded that yes, there was furniture. We arrived at the condo and when we walked in it was a huge disappointment. Walls were scuffed & marked up, no wall decorations/fun vibes anywhere in the long entryway/condo. Went on the balcony and the furniture consisted of 4 slingback cheap chairs and 2 of them had filthy molded thin cushions on them. There was a tiny wooden table that was gross and I covered with a beach towel. I emailed them and asked about it & they said there had been a delay in the ordering but reminded them that they told me there was furniture and I never heard back. The condo had zero rugs in the kitchen or bathrooms which is not pleasant to the feet...had to wear socks all the time because of sand and moisture on the floors. The kitchen had no Tupperware/storage containers...very sparse on utensils & no platters or serving plates. The 2nd bedroom with the bunk beds has no closet, no dresser, no storage for anything & didn’t even posses a TV in the room. We had two 16 year old boys with us so that didn’t go over very well. This was the most we had ever spent on a condo for our spring break vacay and it was not close to the standards of what we’ve had in the past. Would not recommend this condo. Only saving grace was the location & the views & the owners had nothing to do with that.

We had a great time on our trip in Sept. beach wasn’t crowded and the room was great! Would definitely go back!

We have been coming to Sterling Sands for 15+ years, and sadly this was a disappointing experience. The best thing about this unit was the Keurig coffee maker. We always do quite a bit of cooking and grilling while on vacation. Only 2 of the 3 grills were in working order. I reported this to the main office and the front desk employee was unaware that the property even had grills. She did say she would email the HOA. The kitchen was not equipped as we are accustomed. There was no baking sheet or spatula, which I ended up purchasing at Walmart. There were only 3-4 hangers in the closet, and no curtains to block out sunlight in the master bedroom. When we checked in the temperature in the condo was 75 degrees. I waited a couple of hours to see if it would cool down before contacting anyone. I did get a prompt response, however the issue was not resolved until the next morning. At times the pool and pool deck appeared dirty (moldy) The unit was clean upon our arrival.

There was nothing about this condo that met our expectation other than the beachfront view. Dirty floors, the couch felt gross, and the glass panels on the balcony looked like they haven’t been cleaned in months. For the amount of money, I expected so much much more and was highly disappointed.

I found that the condo floors felt like they were cleaned with a dirty mop. The beds were uncomfortable. Linking room furniture uncomfortable. Overall it’s outdated. The television took a longtime time to figure out how to get it to change channel.

Fantastic place to stay. Great views, great accommodations, will definitely be back.

Fantastic property and wonderful unit. The stay was relaxing and beautiful and the unit was so clean and well cared for. It had everything we could ever need and the location was beautiful.

Excellent location, thoroughly cleaned and well equipped condo. If u r bothered with road noise, then this is not a great place to stay as both the bedrooms receive heavy road noise early morning till late night. Beautiful and uninterrupted views of the beach and convenient to major restaurants and hangouts. Overall a decent place to stay unless you are not bothered by traffic noise when you are sleeping.

We had a great time here and would certainly entertain the idea of coming back. The only issue we had was the furniture was a bit dirty and dated in comparison to the modernized look of the space. Outside of that the property was cool and not overly crowded. Beautiful views and the food around was great!!!

The unit was spotless and well maintenanced, plenty of towels & kitchenware
One bathroom, the shower toggle to turn shower on was stuck in down position & we ended up using the other shower. WiFi was very spotty. Reported the issue & opened a ticket, no response. The check in process was unclear & the HOA guy was unfriendly & not wearing a mask. Neighboring unit 605 owner was rude.

Family had a great time the only negative is I wished there was a patio set on the balcony and the second bedroom was too small but it worked out and we enjoyed our stay

Sterling Sands is a great location to everything minutes away. The condo was clean modern & comfortable. A lot of room on the beach & by the pool with 2 chair rentals but they are willing to bring more. I would return.

Over all the condo was in a great location with a great view. The beach chair service that is included is nice and the guys that work there are super helpful and friendly. The condo was clean upon arrival and nicely decorated. Few minor issues that need to be addressed by owners the pillows were stained,the windows need curtains, sofa bed should not be counted as a place to sleep. Very uncomfortable. Over all we still rate the condo 4 stars and would recommend.
