Do I have to clean the home before departing?
Our housekeepers are a critical component of our quality assurance program and they professionally clean our vacation properties between every rental. They vacuum, dust, scrub, sanitize and do the laundry after each guest’s departure to ensure your home away from home is spotless when you arrive. In addition to standard housekeeping duties, our staff checks and stocks our list of basic amenities and required supplies. If you desire daily or occasional housekeeping during your stay, we can arrange that service for an extra fee.
Are early check-in or late check-out allowed?
Check-in time is after 4:00 p.m. Arrivals before 4 p.m. are generally not permitted entry to the home. Check out time is 10 a.m. Departures after 10 a.m. are generally not permitted. This restriction may come as a surprise to people who are used to staying in hotels, motels, and resorts. Please try to appreciate the total difference between the work involved in properly cleaning a private home verses the time required to clean smaller hotel rooms all located in the same building. It can take up to 5 hours to clean a private residential home (which explains our 5-hour gap between check-out and check-in time). Our homes also require routine and special maintenance which must be completed between occupancies. If you wish to check-in early or check-out late, you may want to purchase the day before or the night after your scheduled stay.What is the cancellation policy?
Currently we do not offer a cancellation policy. We highly suggest CSA Travel Protection. Please contact your reservationist for more information.
What is a vacation rental property, and how is it different from a hotel?
Vacation rentals are an alternative to traditional hotel or resort accommodations. The chief advantages of vacation rentals are:
Privacy – no loud parties in the room next door
Our homes allow for entire, extended families to stay under the same roof in a private rental home. You also have the advantages of a fully equipped kitchen to cook your meals – access to the amenities that are offered by the community – and private swimming pools and/or hot tubs if you choose a home so equipped.
How do I make a reservation?
You may either make your reservation on line using our website reservation system, or you can speak to a reservation agent by calling our vacation rental office. For reservations call us anytime at 877-736-8350 Option 1. To speak to our Reservationists.
When do I get the actual address and directions to the house I’m renting?
In order to ensure your privacy and security, and of all of our guests, we do not provide the home's exact address until you are sent the "Welcome Letter". This policy was inaugurated due to the fact that we have had guests arrive days or weeks before their scheduled arrival date disturbing the privacy and peaceful enjoyment of the current guests. We will provide you with a phone number to call on the day you arrive.
When do I get the keys?
Our houses generally do not have keys. Instead, our homes typically are equipped with an electronic PIN code. You will get your assigned personal pin code during you check-in process. The programmable electronic pin codes provide our guests with a more secure and flexible means of household entry.
Are linens, towels and kitchen utensils provided?
Yes, ample linens and towels are provided for you and your guests. We provide a complete inventory list of the home's household items. The list helps us keep track of the personal property in each home and, equally important, we hope that the list will help you plan your trip. This list will help you plan what you will NOT need to bring thereby saving space for more important, FUN items.
Does the home have a washer and dryer?
Yes, all of our advertised properties have private washers and dryers inside the homes.
Do I have to pay to have the pool heated?
Yes, the fee is a flat $25.00 per day and the pool only heats up to 85 degrees. The pool heat does not work when the temperatures outside are below 45 degrees.
Are telephones provided?
Some properties have telephones and some do not. Please refer to the home's amenities section to determine if the property you are considering has a telephone or not.
Are late night check-ins allowed?
Most properties will allow for check-ins 24 hours per day. However, customer service support is NOT provided after 8 p.m. for after hours check-ins. If you encounter a problem locating the property or any other type of issue trying to check into a property, you will NOT be able to contact our customer service representative until the check-in message line opens the following day at 9 a.m. We suggest that, if you think you would be uncomfortable arriving after business hours, you plan your trip to arrive during business hours (before 8 p.m.).
Is a security deposit required?
Your account is charged $69.00 to provide a Security Protection Plan that provides a maximum benefit of $3000.00 payable to Beachview Vacation Rentals.
What if something in the house breaks?
We require that all property owners carry minimum maintenance coverage, which includes on-call service for all household emergencies. The definition of a household emergency is different depending upon the individual repair company's policies. Generally, household emergencies are defined as matters that render the home unable to be occupied safely. Broken windows, door locks, flooding, smoke damage, roof leaks, etc., are all examples of household emergencies that would render the home unable to be occupied safely. Specific coverage details are outlined in the Maintenance Agreements for each property and are available for your review upon request.
Are Pets Allowed?
Some properties advertised on our website allow pets. Rarely, some individual owners do make exceptions to allow pets. Expressed written permission must be obtained in advance if permission from the owner is granted.
